Biographical Information

Sara Jambon, M.Ed, LPC, LMFT, NCC

Sara Jambon is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is currently working as a Private Practice Therapist in Covington, Louisiana. Her goal is to provide families and individuals the opportunity to overcome problems found in their everyday lives. She also works with families to develop parenting plans in order to provide a stable environment in which children can thrive.

Sara received her training at Southeastern Louisiana University. As of May 2007 , she  earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has worked in various settings, such as Fontainebleau Treatment Center, Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center, Youth Services Bureau and the St. Tammany Parish School Board. Most of her work has been with adolescents and families involved in the justice system. She has also worked as a Title I Therapist in a school setting working with young children most of whom would be considered at-risk. Most recently, she has been in private practice working with clients with a wide variety of issues ranging from marital issues to trauma and PTSD resolution.
